Patch Testing

**Due to covid 19 we would ask you to please make an appointment for your patch test.
All treatments involving hair colouring (semi and permanent), waxing, tinting, tattooing, microneedling and lash lifts will require a patch test.

Hair colouring:
Treatments included: semi and permanent hair colours
Policy: a patch test must be carried out at least 48hrs before treatment and no longer than 5 days before
Validity: patch tests are valid for 6 months only
Contraindications: no treatment for under 16’s without parental consent

Waxing:
Treatments included: all facial and body waxing
Policy: a patch test must be carried out at least 48hrs before treatment
Validity: patch tests are valid for 6 months only
Contraindications: no treatment for under 13’s

Tinting:
Treatments included: tint used for tinting brows and lashes
Policy: a patch test must be carried out at least 48hrs before treatment and no longer than 5 days before
Validity: patch tests are valid for 6 months only
Contraindications: no treatment for under 16’s

Brow tattooing:
Numbing cream and ink (used for brow tattooing):
Treatments included: microneedling
Policy: a patch test must be carried out at least 48hrs before treatment.
Validity: patch tests are valid for 6 months only.
Contraindications: no treatment for under 18’s or during pregnancy

Microneedling:
Numbing cream and ink (used for brow tattooing):
Treatments included: microneedling
Policy: a patch test must be carried out at least 48hrs before treatment.
Validity: patch tests are valid for 6 months only.
Contraindications: no treatment for under 18’s or during pregnancy

Lash lift:
Treatments included: lash lifting
Policy: a patch test must be carried out at least 48hrs before treatment.
Validity: patch tests are valid for 6 months only.
Contraindications: no treatment for under 16’s or during the first 3 months of pregnancy

For your safety we reserve the right to refuse any service to you if you do not hold a valid patch test.
Before every treatment with us you will be asked to fill out your consultation form, even if you are a regular client. The purpose of this is to give you an opportunity to make us aware of any changes that may have happened since your last treatment with us. We require to be notified of any changes including pregnancy, medication changes and health changes as they may effect your treatment with us.
